Critical To Do List: Taxes are a nightmare Biz Lessons 5.21.25
When you jump in to business as a reaction to an uncontrollable event epic failure is imminent.
Several business coached and personalities on youtube all have their I would do x differently if I were to do it all again.
But these stories are moot points because the juicy lessons learned wouldn't have occurred without feeling the anguish of the mistakes.
I have built several templates that will help other folk, who are in better circumstances than I was when I started this.
The folks that were shoved off of a cliff (metaphorically) and hit many a bump trying to find any kind of foothold on the way down - I'm still fly/falling so I'm not sure how helpful my advice & mistakes will be. Because without finding an actual success moment the experiment is still happening.
But I'll give it a shot. These are some universal business truths meant to help folk in both the fell and jumped categories.
1. MANAGE YOUR INTAKE
What you allow to enter your brain, be it from family, friends, coworkers, social media, entertainment, games, tv, politics - and more - affects your ability to cope with change or rather events unfolding that you were not expecting.
2. Manage Stress by optimizing your body strength. BSO - Body Strength Optimization
Stress has physical implications on health. Exercise is the best way to protect your body. Exercise does not have to be Boring. It can be a task to get done 5-30 minutes per day or 6 hours per day in a physical job if the idea of exercise is too stressful to fully accomplish. But 1 car accident has turned my life upside down when I already had enough challenges. Robbed me of time more than anything. Staying in shape after recovery from burnout is how you stay out of entropy or be able to climb out faster than all else when more crap comes crashing down on you.
3. You will be tested. Scientifically speaking I believe this paradigm shift comes from our brains catching up with the programming changes we are trying to make.
When our default has been to work, eat, Sleep and watch TV/game this is the expected energy level we operate at. (I know especially ND folk like me, may only have a set amount of energy) but the Neurotypical resources tout energy like a muscle that can grow...wouldn't that be nice.
But hey superpower trade offs, right? NT's have this immense ability to focus and tick off lists but it's the ND's that are designing and creating these lists. We just have limited resources to do it in.
