July - Experience Insecurity

8/24/25 I have learned the toughest piece of doing any work for a client is gaining access to all the necessary systems. I may try to have a sit down for an hour and knock it out, but that doesn’t mean the client is aware of everything that is needed nor has all that is needed.  It took a month to piece together just how much the website was needed yet not available. I threw out a quote of $2500 to build a new one, and he said no understandably. But it wouldn’t matter because we can’t get into the domain settings to change it anyway, because the card that was used to set it up belongs to the guy that created it. So my work around has been social media and linktree to screen the website. And the Google ads team is crafting a landing page specifically to hold the Google pixel.  Translation for laymen. Website was too much of a hassle and not worth the roĆ so Google Ads team created a small website to gather leads and track clicks. As well as I created a link website to help cust...

5-25 - PSA - Delivery Driver Truth

Image
I wrote this because I think most people who order from delivery services have this general misconception that their drivers are getting some sort of guaranteed hourly.  Which is true in some states and specifically some city limits, but for folks in General Washington State this is not the case. My average is $3/hour after expenses.  Washington State DoorDash Customers: If you are not tipping, because your drivers often get lost, food is cold, or some other item is not up to your standards  Go get the food yourself  If you aren’t tipping cause you can’t afford it, and can’t go get it MAKE THE FOOD YOURSELF or order an extra item that you tip the driver with if they want it. Or support their social media or business if they provide you will details to do so.  And for damn sure in both cases you best rate them 5 stars if you don’t tip. Don’t block other paying opportunities that would help them make up the difference, because they value themselves more than you d...

Critical To Do List: Taxes are a nightmare Biz Lessons 5.21.25

When you jump in to business as a reaction to an uncontrollable event epic failure is imminent. Several business coached and personalities on youtube all have their I would do x differently if I were to do it all again. But these stories are moot points because the juicy lessons learned wouldn't have occurred without feeling the anguish of the mistakes. I have built several templates that will help other folk, who are in better circumstances than I was when I started this. The folks that were shoved off of a cliff (metaphorically) and hit many a bump trying to find any kind of foothold on the way down - I'm still fly/falling so I'm not sure how helpful my advice & mistakes will be. Because without finding an actual success moment the experiment is still happening. But I'll give it a shot. These are some universal business truths meant to help folk in both the fell and jumped categories. 1. MANAGE YOUR INTAKE What you allow to enter your brain, be it from family,  fr...

May 21, 2025 - entropic Experiments #1 Sales Structure

Image
Math Rumination. Nothing in here should be taken literally.  Current prices as of 8/24/25 $500/week to $2000/week Depends on necessary tasks and resources required to accomplish them. No prices ever include ad buy.  Add $75/store visit to gather info and checkin. Covers vehicle care, human care, and 2h of support.  Affiliate Experiment Math Hello. Part of my entropic journey is realizing what my strengths are. And leveraging them over the challenges I face. This was created to motivate myself to go out and sell my services. One thing that is still out for debate as to helpful or harmful is my inability to ask someone I work with to do something I wouldn't do. Now I know I am not the greatest at sales, but I am decent at helping folk find solutions. The pieces I struggle with are taking a yes when I feel I haven't conveyed all the necessary details needed for the customer to make a desicion, but I am learning this little voice in the back of my head is not accounting for t...

Neurodivergence: Disability or Superpower? I am kind of obsessed with taking awesome cloud pictures. It might be because the clouds remind me of this inner push and pull of coziness to pulling out of the clutches of comfort. I've been conversing with folks more and more about my entropic theory. Each time I visit and talk it over with folks who have felt similar - and there are alot more than I realized - the images and words around this concept get a little more clear. I do honestly believe every neurodivergent folk no matter how high on the spectrum can find power in the diagnosis instead of disability. Sure, if you can prove its a disability you get benefits and support from the state. But mentally, thinking of myself as disabled has the debilitating effect moreso than the actual thought pattern differences create. A brain wiring difference isn't a disability - it's a key. What it unlocks is up to you. Just like any superpower or perk in life there are trade ...

ek - 2/21 - How to Craft Identity

Image
Iteration 5 "Who are you?" When a manager is asking in an interview, they are trying to get a sense of how easy it will be to mould you into their perfect employee. When a stranger on the street, or rather online, asks, it could be derogatory because you've transgressed on their values in some way. Or they may also be looking for ways to mould you into their agenda. An identity is not a firm skin. Everyone has the ability to adapt to the circumstances before them. However, when this is done too often, your skin or base identity could be lost altogether. Thankfully there are ways to grab hold of little anchors or roots and remember who we are. Lion King reference, anyone? Much like a snake or parrot, we molt these traits as we find others that suit us more as time goes on.  What do you believe goes into this very simple question?  1) How do you define yourself? 2) Who would you be at your core without external influence? Mull that over for a few minutes, maybe scratch some...

eK - 1/15/25 - My purpose & trade off

Finding the folk swimming around the dark hole of entropy and facilitating out and up.  The entropic timeline is not linear, nor is it short. Getting over the rivers, out of the jungles, and up the mountains, I can teach you how. I can teach you the skills - the resiliency, the adaptation, the mental focus and self care necessary to get to your current mountain and beyond. What I can't do is come with you. Someone needs to pull folk out of the well. I can't do that from my mountain, so you'll have to tell me all about it once you get there :) This year has been hard, because I kept living in the mindset of a place I don't actually want to be. Gratitude for what I have allows me to build what I need to dream big. But I haven't earned that yet. I always tend to hover around the middle management section. I lift folk out of their slums and find resources to help them accomplish their greatest desires, but I don't need to myself.  I like fixing and helping. Or it ...
